I've become obsessed with those pic stitch programs

As you can see below - I've become obsessed with those pic stitch programs - here's a couple of the collages I've made -

This is a collage of photos of Buttercup from over the years - isn't she unbelievably awesome?

I took this one at a blessing of the animals a couple weeks ago up in the north end of Halifax - doesn't Buttercup look impressed?

Here is Taffy at Long Lake - she is really a lovely outdoors dog and this has been her favourite place to be - bar none.

This is Buttercup and Bubby - Bubby is sick with kennel cough and Buttercup is having sympathetic sickness feelings with him

This is Tina - who used to be Neena - and Taffy - the night before Taffy went to her new foster home

This is Taffy at her new foster home - shangri-la for her - the pictures coming back from there are just unbelievably awesome

Such cute little dogs

Here are some pictures of the dogs having fun - The 2nd two actually include Sassy being included in a hump fest with Sidney! She has come such a long way since she came here in July - her personality has bloomed into a feisty little bossy white dog that is such a lovely little girl who doesn't take any shit from anyone - including me!

This is Sidney  going into a shake - he is such a pretty boy!
This is the first of the aforementioned Sassy humps - she's the one on the right - and Bubby's in the front.
Here she is in full on hump position - she has also made Bubby her bitch too
Another shot of Sidney - totally giving Bubby the gears - when they wrestle it can get very noisy - Sidney can sound like someone's dying when he wrestles
Sidney doing a side-face come on with Bubby in a play bow, and Sassy to the right seeing where she can jump in
Buster to my right on the couch having nothing to do with the fun for now - and the other three taking a breather - and one of my favourite shows on the tv - the Ricky Gervais show!
Bubby saying - "Yes! I'm on top!"
Bubby and Sidney looking like the smiling brothers that they are.

Buttercup and Bubby looking dramatic

I took a couple pictures tonight of Buttercup and Bubby looking intense tonight
They stopped moving long enough for me take their pictures, which I thought was very nice of them.

Travels in Delhi Ontario

I am in Delhi Ontario visiting relatives I've never met
So I have my camera with me
And these are a couple pictures I took this morning
Around, above, below, and to the left of where I've been
Just normal stuff
And of course when I see flowers
I have to take pictures of them
Last night at the Hamilton airport there is the neatest statue of what they call "the common man traveller" - the light wasn't good enough to take a picture of him from the front - so when I am leaving Ontario I hope that I'll be able to get some photos of him them - he is a wild statue
And here is a couple pictures of what I've left behind
I know I've left them in great hands, but I am having pretty severe separation anxiety

Feeling fanciful with my photos

I've discovered a couple new programs - one is a google program - "Picnik" - it's attached to Picasa and you can either use the free version which gives you a few utilities, or you can upgrade to the full version for $24.95 a year and get a whole bunch of neat things that you can do with photos.

It's really user friendly and I like it a lot - I've always used programs like "Print shop" - and I've tried Adobe Photo Shop Elements and Corel Draw - meaning I bought the programs and spent all the money on them, and didn't really like them - but I spent the measly $24.95 and love Picnik.
All of these photos were done with Picnik - these pictures were taken yesterday at Prospect Bay - one of my favourite places on earth - except of courese for the last one, which was taken last night on the bed - but yesterday at Prospect Bay leads me to the next computer program that I wanted to talk about - it's a Microsoft FREE program calle "Photosynth" - and you take a bunch of pictures all in one area - and you download a little program from Microsoft - and they'll "synth" the photos together - and give you a final picture which is seriously neat.

I downloaded a bunch of pictures I took yesterday at Prospect Bay - and you can go and look at the final product - here - I think it's pretty neat - although of course since I'm a pretty shitty photographer, the photos are quite shitty.  But such is life.

What you do is you click on the toggle button - and you get a 360 degree view of what I was looking at yesterday - that is the cool thing about "Photosynth".

This is a photo of Bubby in bed last night. He really is the cutest - well, 2nd cutest - dog on the planet. Buttercup continues to be the cutest - but I didn't get any photos of her yesterday.

Sail Boats at Point Pleasant Park tonight

I had forgotten that Wednesday nights sail boats go out into the harbour for some kind of weekly regatta - back in the day when I had Charlie and Leonard I used to have to avoid going to Point Pleasant Park on Wednesday nights because Leonard had a lot of sound based fears and when they would shoot the gun to start the regatta Leonard would bolt and we'd spend the rest of the evening trying to find her -
one night she was clocked running straight down the middle of Young Ave headed back to our apartment on Pepperell Street - it was not fun times back then - I don't know how many hours we used to spend looking for her when she'd run away because of something that had scared her at Point Pleasant Park - ususally though she'd always stay in the park, which was lucky.

But if you were a regular at the park 10 years ago and you remember people hollering "LEONARD, LEONARD!" That was either me or my husband at the time.

Anyway - on to tonight - the sail boats are so beautiful!
Buttercup being beautiful while looking at all the boats going by

Bubby didn't really care about what was going on out on the water - he just wanted to run around and have fun

Some pretty pictures for a Saturday night

Buttercup was feeling photogenic when we went for our walk tonight at Long Lake
Some days she is just on fire with looking beautiful - there is nothing more beautiful than her, as far as I'm concerned.
Right as we were leaving Long Lake - Bubby got into a pile of mud and was mud from head to toe for the walk home - he was feeling like a very big boy for about 20 minutes while we walked home - but he wasn't feeling so big when he got put in the kitchen sink - I can tell you that!
It was right when I stopped to take this photo that Bubby got into a big pile of mud - nice photo - but right underneath me was a mud pit - a really stink type too.
These are a couple flowers in a pot on my back deck - my iphone can take some pretty good pictures.
Its with an app called "Hipstomatic" - I really like it.
This is Bubby looking cute - also taken with the iphone, with the hipstomatic app
