Stuff to do coming up

There's some new stuff and stuff to do coming up -

Susan Hirshberg has formed a new group on Meetup.com for local animal lovers at http://www.meetup.com/Pets-and-Animal-Lovers-of-Halifax/ - we can never have too many ways to connect with local pet owners in my opinion, so I think this is fantabulous - I also have a page on my website at that I'll be adding this site to, which has other ways to connect with local dog owners - hopefully Susan and the people who sign up there will have a meetup in the not too distant future! Her description says "Group meets for off leash dog walks, wildlife viewing, animal lover festivals and anything else that we can think off. Souses, kids, friends always welcome." That sounds pretty good to me!

Vetcetera Animal Hospital in Bedford is holding their 12th Annual Dog Wash and BBQ for charity on Saturday June 25th from 10am to 4pm. All proceeds from this event go directly to the SPCA, Bide-A-While Animal Shelter and Pick of the Litter Society (orphan kitten rescue). Please join them for this great event at their NEW LOCATION and show your support for our local animal shelters.
