It was pretty wet when we were up in the woods because we've had a lot of rain in the last 24 hours - so a lot of precipitation fell and melted any snow that was also on the ground. There was one particular puddle that Teddy made it half-way through - to a rock and then decided he could walk no further. He needed to be rescued. His little almost hairless legs were NOT going to be touching any of that mucky water.
Needless to say he stayed on the ground for only a very short portion of the walk thereafter - he moved to the inside of my coat for the duration of the rest of our exercise for the day.
