Bubby is the coolest dog in the world - and the 1st Rescue Dog Show

Yesterday I took Bubby with me to the Rescue Dog Show that Atlantic Small Dog Rescue was putting on up in Windsor - I had a table there for Advocates for Responsible Pet Owners - and I bought an outfit for Tiny Dog Tailor - so I got to go in the fashion show that Amanda Layton was putting on with the clothes that she had brought!
I tell you - judging by his performance on the runway - I think he could have been a contender in the show ring - he just bounced up and down the aisle like he was born to be there, he loved it. It almost seems a shame we got his balls cut off and he can't be a show dog - I really think he would have been a natural.

The Rescue dog show was a big hit

The Rescue dog show was a big hit - a ton of people s howed up even though it was way out in Windsor, everybody made the drive out and I'm sure a lot of people were from out there
This is Lisa Davis's dog Brosa - there were a lot of vendors there, so there was a lot to do and see - and there was also a learning session from Silvia Jay
Very early in the morning - before I got there, there was a parade of rescues, and there was also the fashion show that I mentioned agove, there was agility and flyball demos - which were very loud - hopefully next year they'll have the event in a spot where the acoustics are a bit better - maybe even outdooors -to me that would be ideal.
I don't know who owned this dog - but he was very cute nonetheless - there were a ton of dogs and cats availalble for adoption there which was awesome to see - and they were all clearly marked - Atlantic Small Dog Rescue had animals there, Hants County SPCA had animals, as did East Coast German Shepherd Rescue and a new rescue called "Sympathetic Ear" - so it was also what you could call a "Super Adotpion Event", as well - Dalmation Rescue brought her adoptable dog Patches by to have a look-see - which was awesome to see. Hopefully a couple animals found new homes yesterday.
This dog is Trystan Flynn's beautifual bernese mountain dog Freya - so I'd say the event was a complete success - I hope some money was made for Atlantic Small Dog rescue - that would be the icing on the cake, as it were. Everybody who went had fun - I know me and Bubby did - and I hope I was able to spread the good news about responsible pet ownership a little bit too - if you want to find out a little bit more about that - you can go to http://arpo.ca/

Hi my previous comment didnt seem to go through so let's try again lol. I was there but only for the last hour or so unfortunately but in regards to you mentioning dog shows I think we need a dog show for non purebred dogs or as you put it had their balls chopped off lol I think there is enough people with those dogs to put on a show and it may start small but one day it will be as big as westminster lol but if you are interested in helping me plan or telling me Im crazy email me at ryangjewell@hotmail.com or reply to this comment.
