Emergency Preparedness and your pets

Back when Hurricane Katrina happened and I saw all the animals dying I was like a lot of people and got all freaked out and started researching about survivalism and "bugging out" - Americans are crazy when it comes to being able to live through stuff so I have no idea why they were so unprepared when the levee's broke in New Orlean's - but that's not the topic of this post - back in 2005 I wrote a long post with all kinds of good stuff about how to prepare for an emergency and things you should know about how to get through something like what might happen this weekend should hurricane Earl prove a super bad storm - you might want to check it out and read it through.
