Daisy was starved in her previous life. She was completely emaciated when I got her to the point of her spine sticking out of her back - so she's always hungry and will do anything to get food. Tonight I caught her up on the kitchen counter eating the cat's food. It's the first time I've caught her doing THAT! One would think that something that's twice the height of the dog would be a safe height to put the cat food at. But here's the pictures to prove it. I was pretty impressed with her nonetheless and gave her the cat food she was hankering after. It is Christmas after all.
Caught in the ACT!!!
Preparing to jump down in desolation and defeat...
What - is it CHRISTMAS or something?
I gave my Daisy a good swat on the butt and a repeated hollering (and then chased her out of the house to make sure she understood!) after I caught her eating a pumpkin pie on the windowsill, of all places.
ReplyDeleteShe has stolen pizza and roast chicken before, too.
The last time she stole something, it was intended for her anyway - overdone chicken brochettes/kebabs. Well, she might have had hell to pay at the other end, because she ate the bamboo skewers, too.
i had a german shepherd cross eat a beautiful chocolate cake off the counter top she was able to pull the plate towards her with her paw
ReplyDeletebut that is amazing that a dog can get right up on the counter top
you must be so proud
